How long does semi-permanent makeup last? 

Results typically last between 1–3 years, depending on the treatment, skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products, and aftercare.

Is semi-permanent makeup painful? 

Most clients experience minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is usually applied before and during the treatment to keep the procedure comfortable.  

How long does the appointment take? 

Appointments usually take between 2–4 hours, depending on the treatment area, consultation, mapping, and styling requirements.  

What is the healing process like? 

Healing varies depending on the treatment and skin type. Most treatments go through stages including initial darkness, mild flaking, softening, and color settling over several weeks.  

Will the color look very dark initially? 

Yes, it is completely normal for the pigment to appear darker and more intense immediately after treatment. The color typically softens by 30–50% during healing.  

How long does healing take? 

Surface healing generally takes 7–14 days, while full internal healing and color settling can take around 4–8 weeks.

Is a touch-up appointment needed? 

Yes, a perfecting touch-up is usually recommended 6–8 weeks after the initial appointment to refine color, shape, and retention.  

Can semi-permanent makeup look natural?

Who is not suitable for treatment? 

Treatment may not be suitable for clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, undergoing certain medical treatments, prone to keloid scarring, or experiencing active skin conditions in the treatment area. A full consultation is always recommended.  

Can I wear makeup after treatment? 

Makeup should generally be avoided directly on the treated area until healing is complete to reduce the risk of irritation and infection.  

How should I prepare for my appointment? 

Clients should avoid alcohol, caffeine, excessive sun exposure, retinol products, and blood-thinning medications before treatment where medically appropriate.
